Windsong Lesson Horses

Windsong Arabians began in 1986 breeding Davenport Arabians. They expanded to stud service, mare care, stall and field boarding, leasing and lessons. Windsong has now transitioned to training/lessons, leasing and field boarding only. 

Focus is now on All Breeds of Horses trained to Teach and Forgive Rider Errors

CurleySue 

Purebred Arabian (1999)

Curley was born here at Windsong. She a trustworthy lesson horse for any beginner or an adult needing a confidence builder.

Hali

Purebred Davenport Arabian (2006) 

Hali was born and raised here at Windsong.  She knows the aids,  Prefers to canter! Intermediate confident riders are well suited for her

Patch

Paint (1998)

This horse is forward and responsive to seat and leg aids, good for beginners on the lunge to advanced riders.  Patch is one of our care leased horses.

Ireland

Arabian (2010) 

Acquired in 2020 from Days End Farm Rescue, Ireland was trained  to understand basic dressage aids. She is very sensitive to rein aids.  We recommend her for intermediate to advanced riders.

Doc

Purebred Arabian (2001)

As a member of our care lease program, Doc takes care of his rider and is suitable for beginners through advanced riders.  He has raced, jumped, carried the flag in parades and dabbled in dressage.

Montanna

1/2 Arabian/1/2Quarterhorse (2001) 

Born here at Windsong, this easy keeper is a gentle (almost) giant  schooled to 3rd level dressage, retired,and  sound.  He is a gentleman on the ground and ready for  advanced riders.

Qadira

Quarter Horse (2017)

This is a sweet, nosey horse who accepts most noises and visual stimuli.  She was acquired in 2020 from Days End Farm Rescue, then backed and trained at Windsong.  New to lessons, she is learning to jump.

Rosa

Morgan (2007)

Rosa is care leased into our riding program.  She is finding her way around the routine of Windsong and the lesson program.
